Three years ago, Monzo Bank’s workforce management (WFM) function was, in their own words, just about staying afloat. Forecasting was challenging and spreadsheets were stretched beyond their limits with manual processes. It wasn’t sustainable, and it certainly wasn’t efficient. Instead of just spending money or recruiting more WFM staff, Monzo chose a different way. Their approach was practical, step-by step, and importantly, focused on people.
