Influencing Success: creating a win-win every time

Do you think of influencing as devious and underhand? Perhaps you don’t like the idea of being manipulative? Nicola Callan challenges our perception of influencing and shares some top tips for influencing success.

Influencing and being influenced is the currency of achieving our goals. How we feel about influencing is crucial if we are to influence others successfully and recognise when we are being influenced ourselves. If we see influencing as somehow being disingenuous or in some other way not aligned to our ‘moral compass’ and values, we are likely to not only be unsuccessful in influencing others but also feel negative emotions such as resentment or even hostility towards those who try to influence us. Read the full article.
