My focus here is going to be deliberately less around technology and data science, a well-trodden path, and more about the application of insight within the operation. Amir Orad, CEO at Sisense, talks about the goal not being more dashboards and more AI. “People don’t want to use Business Intelligence”, he says, “People want to run better businesses and give better service to customers.” With more data, more insight, our world becomes even more noisy, so it’s really important that we actually simplify. Just get the message to the right people at the right time.
