How to be a great facilitator

Collaboration and facilitation skills enable learning. They are the key to building networks. These are the competencies we leverage to collectively solve a problem and make progress towards a common goal. At The Forum we set out to make a safe place for learning. And here we share our experience of what works. We build strength in numbers when we focus on how we collaborate.

Have you been in a meeting and started to question why you are there? This can happen in any discussion, workshop or networking group. It can be a waste of time, effort and energy to sit through a poorly facilitated discussion. You may question the value of future sessions. However, a few simple steps can help turn around a bad session. So let’s look at what it takes to turn it into a great session. And not just for you but for all involved.
