2016 Forum Hero Awards
Forum Hero awards were presented to five outstanding customer contact professionals, recognising their exceptional personal contribution in developing the role of planning, analysis or quality. They join our growing ranks of heroes, reflecting excellence at all levels in our profession.
The 2016 Heroes are:
Emma Botfield, Head of Customer Services, RS Components
The winner of tonight’s first hero award, is a role model to all. An inspiring leader who lights the fire of those around her to deliver great things. She is always looking for new ideas from the events she and her team attend, whilst happy to share her own experiences with others. A driving force in every organisation she has worked for, award winner, judge, facilitator, you name it she has done it.
Richard Aldous, Planning General Manager, Severn Trent Water
Our next Hero is a planning professional through and through. In various roles he has taken best practice and enthused his team in making change happen. A manager who takes pleasure in putting his team forward for events, development and accreditation, with a clear purpose to learn, bring back and improve. This person strives to get the very best out of people, he has been an enthusiastic member of The Forum for many years.
Jenny Ryatt, Head of Command Centre and Systems Administration, Geoban
The winner of this Hero award stands out for the obvious enthusiasm she has generated in those around her, making everyone feel of value, giving people the confidence to contribute, learn and develop. A driving force in making change possible within her own organisation. These are all signs of inspiring leadership, underpinned by knowledge and competence, drawing on the resources of the wider professional community. This individual is exceptionally determined and professional.
Rob Tuck, Director of Workforce Optimisation, InterCall
Our next Hero Award goes to someone who has been a planning professional since the late 90’s rising through the ranks to Director level. Instilling a belief throughout that time that the development of people is fundamental to the success of any contact centre business. An active contributor on social media and a regular attendee at industry conferences, this professional knows as well as anyone that to achieve breakthrough performance, we go further, faster, together.
Sven Hill, Head of Planning and Insight, Belron Autoglass
Tonight’s final Hero Award is an experienced professional who has an in depth knowledge of both planning and insight, driving forward these disciplines and showing what a difference they can make to any operation. Part of the judging panel for many years, a professional with a true understanding of best practice and a passion for making a difference.
