Planning for COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all of us, the changes and impacts will continue for some time. It’s during times like this when you need you remember that you are part of a community of best practice, so don’t be alone. The Forum is your friendly, safe environment for sharing ideas, top tips and pitfalls to avoid. In this time of uncertainty its important that we collaborate and work together, bringing together ideas and use this time as an opportunity to learn and continue to raise standards.

We have designed three short series of learning academy modules, along with a top-tips & pitfalls to avoid for homeworking webinar and then a virtual networking group to help you. Phil Anderson has written an article about some of the considerations you might need to make.

To view series 1 and 2 you need to log in to the website. Click on My Account at the top right to register or log in.

Box Set: Quality & Improvement

Learn new approaches to driving improvement in your role, alongside other professionals looking to gain new skills or knowledge and make a tangible difference over the coming year. Start by watching the first two case studies from the best practice showcase (William Hill & npower) and the first of the learning modules (review & assessment). Then complete the other modules and case studies at your own pace. You can pause at key points, to give time for reflection. As you complete each module write down a few bullets about what you found most interesting and how this could apply in your work. Then, at the end (unless you are on an ALP course), get your manager to sign off that you have been applying learning and email us to gain your Professional Accreditation Certificate as a Foundation Professional.

From this learning boxset you will:

 - Learn how to put customer experience and quality at the heart of your operating model & culture.
 - Explore how a fit-for-purpose monitoring & prioritisation framework can drive improvement and start to apply this in your work.
 - Learn how to drive powerful improvement, using data and feedback, for service recovery, process improvement and behavioural change.
 - See what best practice looks like, with insight from practical examples, emerging trends and top tips, seeing how to avoid key pitfalls.
