The day job 
SSCL is looking for an experienced Scheduling Analyst to join the business. We are currently implementing a new Workforce Management system and are looking for someone with experience in scheduling or short term planning experience. You will be Maintaining the system and Using trend data and forecasting to look at schedules and demand.

The Scheduling Analyst will report into the Senior Resource Planning Analyst with the below key responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete administration activities for the WFM system including but not limited to new starters, rotating patterns, system updates, reporting etc. 
  • Manage the schedule generation within the WFM system, which includes driving recommendations for change for schedule best fit. 
  • Support the delivery of the operation by producing intra-level surplus/deficit requirements based off the demand forecast and supply schedules.
  • Work with the operation and wider planning team to communicate the rolling four-week requirements, with clear actions and owners on deliverables and develop and maintain intra-level forecasting model which breaks down the strategic forecast in to daily and intra-daily numbers.
  • Manage the booking of ASH within the WFM system. Develop a mechanism for reporting deviation in plan and actual, the impacts this has and with recommendations for change if necessary. 
  • Support in the deployment of the new WFM system, ensuring its success. When implemented support in the continuous improvement of the system by suggesting enablers in technology or contact centre and resource planning processes. Designing of queries, reports and models in a complimentary blend of WFM reports and MS Excel. Skills required

Essential Skills-

  • 2 years+ experience working in a Scheduling or Planning Team.
  • Working knowledge of a WFM system, with experience using NICE IEX as desirable.
  • Strong Excel skills, particularly manipulating raw data from multiple sources including WFM into clear reports and plans.

Desirable Skills-

  • Excellent understanding of how processes, performance and systems impact customer segments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong stakeholder and presentation skills.
