Reports to        Project coordinator

Key relationships

Internal:           Project coordinator, CEO

External:           Customer Service manager, Team manager

Role purpose

The consultant helps organisations optimise their Workforce Management approach by designing, implementating, executing the relevant business process improvements and software implementations - supported by solid change management and eductation.

Key responsibilities



  • Gather inputs and use bespoke models to generate workload forecasts (strategic, tactical, operational).
  • Gather inputs and use bespoke models to generate estimates for productive staff availability.

Capacity planning

  • Match the required staff per workload with the relevant productive staff per period.
  • Deliver advise on relocation of staff, hiring of additional staff or downsizing of staff.

Pool management

  • Monitor and maintain available staff across multiple sites and skills with the correct contractual mix to be able to match requirements at all times.
  • Confer with operational management on changes in the staffing policies.


  • Monitor and maintain the process of automated scheduling in relevant software applications.
  • Provide schedules based upon detailed operational forecasts.

Schedule maintenance

  • Evaluate requests for changes andexecute according to the relevant policies.


  • Monitor and maintain structures for KPI based performance reporting.
  • Evaluate reports with operational management.

Continuous Improvement

  • Design, develop and implement new processes that improve the workforce management approach.

Relationship management

  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with relevant client representatives.
  • Establish and maintain active and constructive relations with other teams in the organisation.

Personal profile

Essential skills:

  • Higher education (BA or MA).
  • Fluent in English and ideally another European language.
  • Relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills.

  • Detail oriented, organized and resourceful.
  • Ability to be calm under pressure
  • Motivated and a self-starter.
  • Takes initiative.
