Manchester / Liverpool with Hybrid

Job description

Join us as a Resourcing & Capability Analyst

  • You'll be working as part of our scheduling team within Performance & Business Management, supporting resourcing and capability activities for key contact and digital business areas
  • You’ll be providing specialist knowledge to make sure that the right resourcing levels are in place and capability requirements are met to deliver business requirements
  • This is an opportunity to raise your career profile with the work you do, building collaborative relationships with a range of key stakeholders
  • You'll work a minimum of one day a week in the office according to business need
  • Your hours will fall between 08:00am and 20:00pm Monday to Friday, and you'll work on call at weekends a minimum of once a month

What you'll do
As a Resourcing & Capability Analyst, you’ll be building and maintaining strong, trusted partnerships to understand and support the resourcing and capability needs of the business. You’ll be engaging with the business to determine a strategic workforce plan, as well as working with the business area to define and deliver capability plans which are in line with future operating models.

You’ll also be:

  • Gathering and using robust capability MI, providing options and recommendations to support the business strategy
  • Embedding the outputs of the people plan locally and supporting people leaders by providing advice and guidance
  • Identifying skills and knowledge gaps based on the business strategy and provide solutions
  • Supporting the implementation of a technical learning framework across the business area
  • Designing, delivering and leading the business unit’s communications and engagement plan, owning key communications channels
  • Using our key systems Alvaria WFM, QStory, ControllQ, Anaplan and Microsoft Office

The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with excellent experience of working in a leadership support or business management role. You’ll need broad knowledge of the customer business, key services and how it interacts with the rest of the organisation.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Experience of working with multiple business initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to use information to develop creative value add solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills

  1. Manchester: expectation would be 100% office based for first few weeks of training but once completed, expectation is minimum of 1 day in the office a week
  2. Liverpool: expectation would be 100% office based for first few weeks of training, which may be a mixture of Manchester & Liverpool, but once training completed expectation is minimum of 1 day in the office a week (this can be a mixture of Liverpool & Manchester). Colleague would be expected to pay for their own travel between Liverpool & Manchester (likely to be bi-weekly in Manchester)
