To support the Resource Planning team, we are looking to hire a Resource Planning Analyst to be responsible for managing all short to medium term planning processes & supporting the operation to achieve business service level, maximising efficiency, and ensuring all compliance tasks are staffed across the airport operation.
You will analyse, monitor, and react to staffing forecasts, using dynamic optimisation of skills sets to avoid SLA failures, whilst supporting to help build a long-term resource planning model.
What you will be doing
- Help create, maintain & update operational rosters and provide support for the Workforce Management software for planning shift patterns and task/position management
- Optimise staffing levels for workload and shrinkage
- Work within operational budget and SLAs to monitor performance of staffing plans and forecasts
- Highlight and communicate any operational challenges ahead and see potential solutions
- Accurately maintain headcount & FTE records
- Challenge short-term forecasts and ensure accuracy above a required threshold
- Ability to carry out operational hand over meetings with departments
- Collate and analyse data from various sources and prepare reporting information with commentary and solutions to management team
- Drive operational efficiencies within the business by optimising workloads, challenging ways of working and enhancing operational efficiencies
- Ensure report content validity and accuracy against requirements
About You
- Previous experience of working in an Aviation or Transport environment is desired, although not essential
- Previous experience in a Scheduling or Tactical/Business Planning role
- Experience of using Workforce Management systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to engage with Heads of departments
- Flexible approach to working
- Ability to react to short notice changes
- Strong customer focus and drive to provide excellent passenger experience
