Your future duties and responsibilities:
As Planning and Scheduling Lead here at CGI, some of your day to day duties will include

  • Proactively managing service level performance
  • Strategic analysis and management of short- and long-term risks
  • Propose areas of cost reduction and resource savings, through resource optimisation.
  • Undertake client tours demonstrating P&S capability.
  • Leadership of 4 members of the planning and scheduling team
  • Work with Service Desk Operations Directors to establish future and existing contract/service priorities.
  • Work with the Operations Directors and Team Managers to manage the transfer of staff between contracts as required.
  • Own end to end planning, scheduling, adherence, and management information & reporting.
  • Create strategic resource plans providing recommendations of long-range skill requirements
  • Liaise with the training department in the scheduling of training courses both long range and intraday.
  • Produce and analyse detailed reports of performance statistics where required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
As Planning and Scheduling Lead you will have some previous experience in the following,

  • Assisting the Service Desk Operations Directors with projects as required.
  • Assisting the New Business and Transition team with resource requirements
  • Delivery and optimization of staffing vs. requirements in line with individual client requirements 
  • Working closely with operational teams to deliver maximum efficiencies through the reduction in average handle times and shrinkage targets
  • Delivery and management of the real time intra-day function
  • Delivery of daily performance reports inclusive of commentary

You must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) to Security Check (SC) level.
