Intraday Analyst

Hebburn

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in our Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), based at Ambulance Headquarters or Russell House, as an Intraday Analyst. In this role, you will play an integral role in the real time management of the operation and short term administration of the WFM system. This is vital in ensuring that we efficiently optimise short term planning to meet the significant demands of the c.1.6 million calls we handle annually across NHS111, 999 and Patient Transport Services.

The post holder will also be responsible for providing analysis of on the day performance, working closely with colleagues within the workforce planning team,

You will need to have:

  • GCSE Grade A - C (or equivalent/Higher) in Maths and English or relevant knowledge of Workforce Management, specifically Intraday Management.
  • Knowledge or experience of statistical analysis.
  • GCSE Grade A – C (or equivalent/Higher) in ICT/Computing or demonstrable skills of Microsoft Excel gained through relevant experience.

We are already one of the best-performing services across NHS111 and 999 and are one of only two Ambulance services who also multi-skill our Health Advisors. And this must continue – particularly as we continue to embark on a new, 5-year NHS 111 contract. Therefore, this role will be essential to support the Trust in delivering to stretching standards and targets – all designed to ensure patient safety.
