"As we’ve recognised along with other organisations is that there is a lot of vacancies within the market now making it really challenging to recruit into our planning team. We still really struggled to get applicants with the relevant skills. We shared the roles we currently had available to The Forum jobs page, and we saw a massive spike in applicants." Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they’re likely to die from.

The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life. Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives.

We want a different society than the one we live in now. Our mission for the next five years is to close the gap in the number of people missing out on what they need at the end-of-life, through 3 ways:
Growing and transforming our direct care and support
Delivering more practical information and support
Leading in shaping the end-of-life experience

At Marie Curie, we believe everyone deserves the best possible experience at the end of life. Behind every great service is great insight – and we’re looking for a Performance & Insight Analyst who is passionate about data, driven by detail, and motivated by continuous improvement.

Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced analyst to play a key role within our Caring Services Commercial & Performance Team. You’ll work with complex datasets from CRM and operational systems to produce high quality reporting, dashboards and insight that directly influence decision making, improve services and demonstrate impact.

You’ll be someone who enjoys getting under the skin of data – spotting trends, challenging assumptions and translating complexity into clear, meaningful insight for a wide range of stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

  • Producing accurate, high quality performance reports and Power BI dashboards for internal and external audiences
  • Analysing operational, commercial and commissioner data to identify risks, opportunities and improvements
  • Turning complex data into clear, actionable insight for non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders
  • Supporting improvements in data quality, consistency and reporting standards
  • Working collaboratively across teams to embed a strong, data driven culture
  • Contributing to the development of new KPIs, analytical approaches and smarter ways of working

What we’re looking for:
You’ll bring strong attention to detail, a genuine passion for data, and a mindset focused on learning and continuous development. You’re confident working independently but thrive when collaborating with others to make things better.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Significant experience in a data, reporting or insight role
  • Advanced Power BI skills and strong Excel capability
  • Experience working with CRM or operational data systems
  • The ability to communicate insight clearly and confidently
  • A proactive, improvement focused approach and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work

Experience in healthcare, commissioning or complex operational environments is beneficial, but not essential.

What’s in it for me?

Salary: Marie Curie Grade E £36,900 - £41,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time 35 hours per week
Based: Home based

Benefits You’ll Love
