It’s during times like this when you need you remember that you are part of a community of best practice, so don’t be alone. The Forum is your friendly, safe environment for sharing ideas, top tips and pitfalls to avoid. In this time of uncertainty its important that we collaborate and work together, bringing together ideas and use this time as an opportunity to learn and continue to raise standards. 

 We have designed three short series of learning academy modules, along with a top-tips & pitfalls to avoid for homeworking webinar and then a virtual networking group to help you. Phil Anderson has written an article about some of the considerations you might need to make.

Case Study 2018: Releasing the potential of planning at Barclays

Barclaycard took the bold step of adapting Anaplan to build a pioneering, strategic capability that links Workforce Planning with Finance & HR. A small, global team has rebuilt local Excel models built over time in six siloed planning functions. Robust audit, governance and knowledge sharing is driven by a rule-based modelling platform and a central database. This removes single points of failure and frees time for addedvalue tasks. The analysts are developing new skills and using this system creates flexible, agile planning resource. Software licence costs for the team are low compared to operation-wide systems like workforce management or analytics. What’s more, live real-time scenario planning is engaging stakeholders and building credibility in ways that might have seemed impossible before.
