The Forum’s Terms and Conditions for Membership and Events

Membership registration, web access and booking for programmes, services, workshops, training and other events run by Professional Forums Ltd implies acceptance of these terms and conditions, whether online, face to face, or otherwise.

These terms shall prevail over any terms put forward by you unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. No conduct by us, our employees, or associates shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of any such terms. These terms may be updated from time to time, with updates applying from the date of publication on our website. Specific terms may apply for individual events and will be outlined in the relevant event materials or booking confirmation.

Privacy and Confidentiality
Our privacy policy is an integral part of our terms and conditions; acceptance of the products or services covered by this contract includes acceptance of the terms in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy can be found here. This has been reviewed to ensure compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and any relevant changes under the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill (if enacted).

Participation in our Best Practice Update Programme, provided free of charge, continues for organisations and their nominated individuals, regardless of any current engagement in paid-for services. Participation is voluntary and opt-out is available at any time, though doing so may limit eligibility for specific roles or benefits within the programme.
We take data protection seriously and process personal data lawfully, transparently, and for legitimate purposes. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.

Accessibility and Inclusion
We are committed to making our events, website, and services accessible in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. Should you require any reasonable adjustments, please contact us at the time of booking or as early as possible.

Membership and Subscriptions
Membership privileges, including website access, are dependent on payment of the relevant membership subscription at the time of subscribing. Individual and associate memberships apply to the individual, not their organisation. Corporate memberships apply to the subscribing organisation.

Membership may be cancelled at any time. Please note, however, that no refunds of subscriptions will be provided under any circumstances. Access and privileges may be suspended or withdrawn if a Member or Associate breaches these terms or brings The Forum into disrepute.

Bookings for events will remain provisional until full payment is received.

Admin Fees and Payment Terms

Bookings under £750 (excluding VAT) may be subject to an administration fee of £50 + VAT. This fee is waived for payments made within the agreed payment terms, which will be confirmed at the point of invoice.

Copyright and Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in programme or event design, materials, methods, and software, whether existing prior to or arising from your participation, shall remain with us or our suppliers (except for pre-existing rights you may have).

Materials provided are for use within your own organisation only and are not to be used commercially or shared externally without our prior written consent. Where applicable, usage restrictions must be observed and clearly communicated within your organisation.

Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you shall be limited to the amount of any fees paid, except in cases involving death or personal injury caused by our negligence. We shall not be liable for:
  - Loss of profit, business, contracts or revenue
  - Failure to realise anticipated savings
  - Special, indirect or consequential loss

Any potential exceptions to this limitation must be notified to us in writing prior to making a booking.
Each clause in this section shall be deemed independent and shall survive termination of the contract

Disclaimer
No information, whether on our website or in correspondence, shall be taken to imply any additional contractual obligation unless explicitly stated. Use of information is at the user's discretion and risk.

Third-Party Rights
Nothing in this agreement shall confer any rights or benefits to any third party.

Applicable Law
This contract is governed by English law. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
