When Jonathan O’Connor started at Tructyre as Resource Planning Manager, he soon saw that something was off. Staff were working 40-hour weeks with unpaid breaks, which meant they were actually spending 45 hours a week on-site. Jonathan knew that shorter hours and paid breaks could improve work-life balance. So, he set himself a challenge: reduce working hours without compromising service levels.
