Top Tips to get the best from a virtual event

This years conference is virtual, with a series of keynote and workshops, followed by open networking discussions. Attend as many workshops as you can and we encourage you to bring along a key stakeholder to support their learning and understanding. All, sessions will be recorded, so if you can’t attend the live event you can watch the recording on-demand.

Top Tips for the best experience

We will send links for each session in advance. We recommend that you test that you can access the links beforehand as some companies have restrictions. If you cannot access through your work computer you can download the app to a personal device.

Change your name using the three dots at the top right of your own square (in the Zoom calls) so we can see your name and company and use your webcam if possible. This helps everyone on the session feel more connected to see who they are talking to. Workshop and Awards sessions will be interactive and you will be encouraged to participate. Choose the view setting so you can see all the participants.

If possible, set up in a room where you won't be disturbed. You can concentrate on your involvement and learning if you are not worried about being interrupted.

Turn off other phones and devices.
