“Be Your Personal Best” call to action will underpin The Forum’s 2018 best practice programme

Stockport, 21 February, 2018

How can we be the best we can be? What does it feel like, what are you doing differently, how are you being supported when you are at your personal best?

These are the stories and experiences that we will be listening to and sharing throughout this year with our members, and we look forward to hearing yours.

Each year we select a theme to add a fresh perspective to how we stimulate collaboration, continual learning and customer focus within our community of professionals. This year’s theme: “Be Your Personal Best” follows on very naturally from the previous year where we explored with members how we can unlock the very best from ourselves and our teams to release our full potential.

Elaborated throughout the year, we will be sharing stories and examples of best practice during the Challenge programme through which members work on their business initiatives and projects, at Customer Strategy & Planning conference taking place on 23rd - 24th April in Harrogate, through our site visits, workshops and National Conferences.

Take Kirsty Ringer, Service Excellence Manager at BC&E, who won the Manager of the Year at the 2017 National Quality & Customer Experience Awards organised by The Forum. Determined to deliver great service, Kirsty’s “Personal Best” meant that she was able to sell her team’s vision to senior management and front-line advisors alike and make it real.

Or consider Sam Lines, Resource Planning Analyst at Essex & Suffolk Water who through taking the Advanced Certificate in Customer Contact Planning & Management through The Forum in partnership with the University of Ulster achieved a “Personal Best” when she saw the business pick up her ideas – her academic challenge stimulated practical results in the business.

We invite contact centre specialists and leaders from across industry to join them and 600 other forward-thinking customer professionals at Customer Strategy & Planning in Harrogate on 23rd- 24th April. Gain inspiration and learn from experienced practitioners on the most significant issues and trends facing our industry and make sure that you “Be Your Personal Best” in 2018.
