Discover how the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) saved £150,000 in 12 months by implementing InVision’s self-scheduling workforce management (WFM) system and establishing MyTime, a locally negotiated alternative to flexi-time.  The move, which was undertaken with full union consultation and was successfully executed in just three months, has improved employee engagement and advisor work-life balance, while ensuring the planning and resourcing team is better able to schedule one-to-one meetings and coaching sessions.  Furthermore, time has been freed up for 45 employees to complete NVQs.  An extra £250,000 cost-saving is anticipated in year two as the system is further optimised and rolled out in the back office.

  • Cost per call down 10%
  • 95%+ schedule adherence
  • 1.9% saving on overall staffing costs due to removal of overtime
  • Additional 2.5% savings through better schedule fit
  • £150,000 savings achieved in year one
  • On schedule for a further saving of £250,000 in year two
