Job summary:    
Experienced and flexible Resource Planning/Business Analyst who will form part of an expanding team responsible for the optimisation of the Customer Contact and Field Engineer Strategy.
Must be commercially aware and have excellent understanding of inbound/outbound/back-office and Field Capacity Planning and Forecast techniques and technologies and how their successful deployment can deliver step change in the Customer experience and Operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:-    

  • Design & develop standard planning models to support various business areas in delivery of performance targets. (Forecast models, Capacity Plans, Recruitment Plans, and Planning Packs etc.)
  • Continually seek ways to improve supply and demand wastage through challenge and innovation and provide recommendations to the senior leadership team.
  • Create accurate analytical and predictive models across the enterprise and effectively present them in a readable format using visualisation methods.
  • Identify and maximise value adding opportunities through proactive research into variances in operational performance highlighting root cause and recommendations.
  • Creation and accountability for accurate headcount and recruitment planning for Field and Contact Centre Resource.
  • Influence and guide senior managers across the business to assist with delivery and performance through detailed analysis and reporting.
  • The incumbent is expected to remain abreast of industry developments to ensure R&P capability remains aligned.
  • Share best practise knowledge, support the development and deliver training within own area of subject matter expertise.

Person Specification:-

  • At least 3 years’ experience in either a Capacity Planning & Forecasting or Business Analyst role.
  • Must have experience of workforce management systems (ASPECT preferred but not essential)
  • Full understanding and knowledge of end to end resource planning cycle incorporating Forecasting & Planning, Scheduling, Service Delivery and Management Information
  • Strong analytical skills including experience in SQL/VBA
  • Detailed knowledge of Telephony systems (Avaya)
  • Field planning experience preferred but not essential
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ideas orientated – analytical and intuitive and forms/conceives or resolves before acting
  • Creative – can inspire, imaginative and inventive bringing new ides to the business
