At Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) we aspire to deliver world class care to the communities we serve, and are the commissioned provider for NHS 111 Call Centre services across the Yorkshire, Humber and Northern Lincolnshire regions. 

In line with our ambition to continuously improve the service we are able to offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst/ Real Time Coordinator within our NHS 111 Workforce Team. This role is vital in ensuring that we have the right resource available at the right time to meet patient demand. Applicants must have a strong understanding of the planning cycle, and the ability to foster excellent relationships internally and externally. 

The post holder will be responsible for providing insights and presenting planning statistics to all staff groups, to enable and deliver service improvement. 

Reporting to the Workforce Team Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring a single, clear delivery plan is in place for each day – with expectations understood by all stakeholders
  • Providing continual evaluation of processes and procedures, and suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service
  • Developing, introducing, evaluating and maintaining the analysis of patient calls and service delivery
  • Effective use of resources and for service planning, in line with the agreed service operational plans

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Contact Centre experience within an operational environment with extensive experience and understanding of call centre statistics and systems
  • Deliver cleansed and consolidated data that is free from errors and formatted for use within WFM Solutions and models used
  • To accurately identify and target resources (and re-alignment) to meet operational requirements (real time or emerging)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
