The primary purpose of this role is to take ownership of the business' digital marketing activity across all channels by:

  • Developing the digital marketing strategy
  • Social Media
  • Paid Social
  • Digital Retention Strategies
  • Analysis of results
  • Testing 
  • Managing internal and external relationships 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketer have a real impact on the future direction of The Forums’ digital marketing.

A demonstrable track record of developing results focussed, successful digital marketing strategies is essential.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement a full digital marketing strategy across the business
  • Create and executive an innovative and successful paid search marketing strategy 
  • Develop and implement a CRM and Email Marketing strategy whilst also optimising the sales funnel and digital journey
  • Work closely with Sales team to improve customer conversions and optimise lead generation process and drive overall ROI
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to align the digital strategy with the overall business strategy
  • Build a suitable digital function capable of growing the business
  • Devise, manage and execute all digital marketing (paid and organic)
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI) on a regular basis, and identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on insights. 

Software and Knowledge Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce/Pardot 
  • Working knowledge of Google analytics 
  • Working knowledge of HTML 
  • DotNetNuke 

Personal Attributes and Skills
We are looking for someone passionate about their professional discipline and self-development, with a track record of working with and encouraging others. Someone who can work alone and as part of a team.

You need to possess good analytical skills, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have a flexible approach to workload and expectations and an ability to multi task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You'll be up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement, and have a commitment to continuous learning through workshops, seminars and conferences.

You’ll need a proven record of delivering profitable growth across Social and Paid Search, a strong 'eye for detail’ along with a data driven attitude.

You need to be capable of managing key stakeholders and have great people skills, a strong understanding of the factors required to drive excellent channel performance and ROI and the ability to cope with the pressure of having to make important decisions and meet tight deadlines.

Finally, drive and determination and creative flair.

Location, hours of work
The role will be primarily working from home with regular visits to our Stockport office and some travel to our Omagh Office, 40 hrs per week.
