Job Description

The biggest growth area for our client is within the MI department and with that growth comes the need for a new MI Manager which is where you come in. This business continues to lead the way as an industry leader within their respected field and there is a huge opportunity for someone joining the business to further your career and have a real impact on their success. 

What the job is:

As the MI Manager you will be responsible for the development and accurate measurement of business metrics, provision of a regular suite of management information, provision of ad-hoc data analysis, and assisting the business in making data led decisions. The MI Manager will also own the identification and delivery of transformation activity across the function as well as BAU activities across the business, and has line management responsibility within the MI team.  

Qualifications

Is this the job for you

You will be an MI Manager, Data Manager or a BI Manager and have done a MI Manager role for at least four years within a similar environment (extra points if you have experience working with contact centre technologies) and have been great at it and all that being a MI Manager involves –if it needs explaining then this is probably not for you.

  • Proven experience in leading small teams of specialists in MI or Analytics
  • High level business partnering and engagement with senior management and stakeholders 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to deliver management information that is understood 
  • Proven organisational and planning skills and ability to deliver on time to tight deadlines 
  • Excellent numeracy
  • Ability to use a range of analytical tools 
  • BI and lean transformation skills 
  • A high standard of programming and development competency in SQL, VBA, Sharepoint and all Microsoft office packages, including Access 
  • Database Administration skills
