Job Description

The biggest growth area for our client is within the Resource Planning department and with that growth comes the need for a new Resource Planning Analyst which is where you come in. This business continues to lead the way as an industry leader within their respected field and there is a huge opportunity for someone joining the business to further your career and have a real impact on their success. 

What the job is:

As the Resource Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for front office forecasting and planning operations in Manchester and Scotland (can be based in either location). You will produce accurate supply and demand forecasts and complete detailed forecast variance analysis to support the Operations area in making optimum use of resources to achieve internal and contractual agreed service levels and meet business plans.


Is this the job for you?

You will be a Resource Planning Analyst and have done a Resource Planning role for at least three years within a Contact Centre environment (extra points if you have experience in working within back office functions) and have been great at it and all that being a Resource Planning Analyst involves –if it needs explaining then this is probably not for you.

Some bullet points about you:

  • Ideally have back office planning experience however a good understanding of front office resource planning methodologies is essential
  • Good understanding of front office performance metrics
  • Advanced Excel knowledge essential
  • Good working knowledge of Access and Powerpoint
  • Previous experience in a resource planning role
  • Must have experience of short, medium & long forecasting and planning experience
  • Knowledge of back office resource planning technologies such as EG would be an advantage
  • Ability to disseminate large amounts of information, shape into detailed plans and reports and present conclusions
  • Ability to develop strong internal relationships and interact and influence at all levels
  • Self-motivated, flexible and responsive to business needs and changes in priorities and deadlines
  • Personally committed to quality, delivery and improvement
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to design and develop reports with high visual impact
  • Strong analytical skills and highly numerate
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational, planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, working to challenging deadlines
  • Committed team player
